    The Critical Languages Program:
Offering More Than the Usual Fare!

The Critical Languages Program (CLP) at Georgia Perimeter College, Dunwoody Campus, is designed to offer students the opportunity to learn less commonly taught languages through a distinct, learner-centered curriculum with a strong emphasis on oral language skills. Languages most commonly offered through the CLP are Arabic, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian. Both beginning and intermediate levels of these languages are available. Though these are the core languages of the CLP, additional language courses may be offered based on Instructor availability.

The instructional approach used in teaching critical languages is different from the approach of the traditional  language classroom.  To learn more about it, please click here or go to the Frequently Asked Questions option .

The Critical Languages Program is part of the GPC Dunwoody ESL/Foreign Languages department and is affiliated with the National Association of Self-Instructional Languages Programs (NASILP).
