Placing Materials on Reserve

GPC Libraries Copyright Best Practices

To process new reserve material it will be necessary to send the material and all pertinent information to the Circulation Department at least 5 working days before it is assigned. Part-time instructors should please be sure that they have an up-to-date patron record in our files. Please contact Aviva Lefkovitz, (770-274-5089) to check on this.

Due to the volume of requests, material needed at the beginning of the term will require 2 weeks' processing time. All items will be processed in the order received.

Reviewing materials currently on reserve

Please come to the Circulation Department of the library to review the items that you currently have on reserve.

The GIL Online Catalog contains a list of reserved items available at the circulation desk. Ask Aviva Lefkovitz or Amy Bursi to remove those items you no longer need for the current term. Unless otherwise instructed all material will be removed at the end of the term and held for you in the circulation department. After one month it will be discarded.

Please remind your students that they MUST bring their college ID's to check out reserve items. A note in your syllabus to that effect would be very helpful. Please call Aviva Lefkovitz at 770-274-5089 if you have any questions. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
