Adding Meta Tags in Composer

Open your web page in Netscape Composer

Click the Format menu, then click Page Colors and Properties. This will open the Page Colors and Properties dialog box (shown below).

Select the General tab (it may be selected by default)

Your page will probably already have a Title. If not, give it a short, descriptive title. This is what will show when your site is book marked.

Fill in the Author area with who authored the page.

Provide a brief sentence in the Description area describing the content and/or purpose for your page.

In the Keywords area, fill in any relevant words a person might use if they were going to search for your site. Use lower case letters, separating each keyword with a comma.

Click OK.
