Students are placed on academic probation if (1) they are on academic warning and their cumulative grade point average is less than 1.75 or (2) if they pass no collegiate-level course work and have one or more "F's" or "WF's" during a term and their cumulative grade point average is less than 1.75. Students on academic probation should see an advisor to plan for improvement and should take a reduced academic load. Students remain on probation until they earn a cumulative grade point average of 1.75 or better.
