The FAFSA should be completed and submitted online at www.FAFSA.gov by March 1 every year for which a student plans to request aid. The normal processing time is two to four weeks, but may be longer during peak periods, such as orientation and registration. Files that are complete (with SAR and all supporting documents) by April 1st will receive priority. Students who apply after June 1st should be prepared to pay their fees by the posted fee payment due date and may be reimbursed based on their eligibility. If a student’s aid does not cover the full balance, the student must pay any balance due by the posted fee payment due date. The student is responsible for making sure his or her account is satisfied in full.
