What is College Services?
Georgia Perimeter College's Department of College Services is a large department offering services through five subordinate departments: Auxiliary Services, JCard, Printing Services, Logistical Services, and Records Management and Digital Imaging. -
What is Auxiliary Services?
Also known as “Ancillary” or “Non-Academic Campus Support Services,” Georgia Perimeter College’s Department of Auxiliary Services is located at the Clarkston Campus and manages the needs of GPC’s four campuses (Clarkston, Decatur, Dunwoody, and Newton) and the Alpharetta Center and GPC’s Online Campus. Auxiliary Services at Georgia Perimeter College oversees GPC’s bookstores, catering, food services, student copying, student printing (managed by OIT and College Services), and vending. -
What is the JCard?
Your JCard is your official campus Identification Card. You can find your campus JCard office and their contant information here. You can use your JCard for access to your JBucks account, pay for copying and printing on campus through PawPrints, use for access to your Financial Aid funds, use for access to the gym and other recreation facilities, and to get your student checking account or savings account through WellsFargo. How does textbook rental work?
Another way GPC Bookstores save you money on textbooks is by offering textbook rental. Your campus bookstore provides you with two ways of learning whether your textbooks are available for rental: online and in store. When searching for a textbook online, if it is available for rental, its online listing will provide the necessary information, including its rental price. When searching for a textbook in store, if its available for rental, its price tag will include a note signifying that the book can be rented.
When you rent from the GPC campus bookstores you have more choices, which means more convenience because every book you need is in one place. We accept all forms of payment, from cash, to credit, campus cards, and financial aid. You have the option to buy the textbook during the rental term, plus you have the assurance of seeing the book you're renting before making your decision. And when you rent your books, you'll pay, on average, half the new price.

What are digital textbooks?
Many textbooks are now available at the bookstore in digital format. CafeScribe digital textbooks let you read your text and organize your studies, plus a whole lot more. You can add your notes and links to other material right within the text, and share your notes with others in your class or even your instructor. CafeScribe textbooks can be accessed online, offline or from most web-enabled devices (e.g. an iPad or smart phone). And the cost of CafeScribe digital textbooks is up to 40% - 60% less than the cost of a new textbook.

Are used textbooks available at the Bookstore?
Providing you with the opportunity to save some money on college textbooks, GPC Bookstores strive to supply as many used books for each course whenever possible. In order to make your college experience more affordable, we urge you to stop by your campus bookstore early in the semester and take advantage of the lower priced used books. -
Can I sell my old textbooks back?
In an effort to make both your and other students’ college experience more affordable, the College Bookstores offer cash-back for your textbooks at the end of each term. In addition to making some money back, you also provide used textbooks for your fellow students. Although buyback is available year round, you will get the best value for your textbook at the end of the term. -

Does GPC offer meal plans?
Not at this time. -
Where are public access copiers located?
Public access copiers are available in the Learning Resource Centers (LRC) on each campus. Please note the COPIERS DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. For Copier Refunds complete the Refund Form.To make copies you must use your JCard or purchase a VCard. You can do this at any VMachine. For more information on the JBucks program please visit your campus JCard Office or call (678) 891-3330. -

What is the printing balance fund?
Every current student receives a $7.50 allocation for printing and copying from their student technology fee each semester. The price for printing is six cents ($.06) per page and ten cents ($.10) per page for duplex (front and back of one sheet) printing. The cost for copying is ($.09) per page. The printing balance fund can only be used for printing and copying. However, any funds added to the JCard by the student can be used anywhere the card is accepted on campus (printing, vending, bookstores, and food service). V-Card balances are good at any location that accepts the JCard. -
How do I add funds to my JCard?
If you qualify for Financial Aid, and have a balance left over after tuition and fees, a financial aid account will automatically be opened on your behalf. This account can be utilized with your JCard at any location that accepts the JCard and will be good for up to $1,000 (depending on your remaining financial aid balance). The account will be valid through the second week of classes. Make deposits here. -

How do I obtain a refund from a vending machine, printer, or copier?
Vending: Refunds may be obtained at any Student Accounts Office. The machine number and your JCard are required for refunds.
