Career Opportunities
Social Work is a strong growth area. The employment outlook for social workers is expected to increase by 16 percent during the decade ending in 2018, according to the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In 2008, the median annual salary for social workers was $46,220, with the top 10 percent earning more than $74,040.
