Please indicate the campus of the request in the Subject line of the email. If the request is for one event on multiple campuses, you can send one email - just put “multiple campuses” in the Subject line.
Please include the following information in your request:
- Date
- Start & End Time (if you will need set up/take down time, please indicate how much will be needed.)
- # of people expected
- Preferred location (including Campus) or location attributes (classroom, conference room, etc.)
- Purpose of event (meeting, review session, workshop, etc.)
- Group making the request (Department, Committee, Club, etc.)
Timeline of your event
Many public spaces at the college stay busy most of the day and there may only be a short window of time between scheduled events. You can always check the GPC Webviewer to see what is scheduled in any space at the college.
To ensure everyone has the time they need, the Scheduling Group asks that everyone be sure to request any critical set-up or tear-down time needed for your event (setting up technology, getting a display setup or broken down, etc.) so that we may ensure that all those who are scheduled in spaces have the time that they need.
Also, please remember to be respectful of the space and anyone else who may be using it - return the space to the condition you found it as much as possible and observe the time frame the space has been scheduled for your group. This applies to all conference rooms and classrooms.
