SECTION 100 - AUTHORIZATION

 

Georgia Perimeter College has authority from the Legislature of the State of Georgia under the aegis of the University System of Georgia to award degrees, certificates and diplomas.  This authority stems from the passage of H.B.1142, Act 1013 (February 12, 1986), culminating in the documents jointly signed by the Board of Regents and the DeKalb County Board of Education (June 23 and 30, 1986).
