303.0701 PROCEDURE FOR CONFERENCE AND SEMINAR REQUESTS
PROCEDURE
To provide procedures for organization, the public, and College personnel to request conferences or seminars at the College in order to properly document institutional efforts in Continuing Education.
A. All requests for conferences, non-credit courses, or seminars (excluding staff development programs) are routed through the Division of Continuing Education for coordination and reporting of institutional effort in Continuing Education.
B. All conferences, non-credit courses, and seminars are assessed a fee determined on services required. The following guidelines are implemented for exempting conferences and seminars from fees:
1. College committees sponsoring public service workshops; i.e., College symposiums, SGA workshops, Second Wind workshops, and career advisement workshops.
2. Regent meetings and workshops, unless the particular Regent groups need to charge to compensate for expenses.
