STUDY ABROAD
POLICY
In order to provide students with
enriching cross-cultural experiences, Georgia Perimeter College (GPC) offers a
variety of study abroad programs.
Details on study abroad programs are available in the International
Program Information Packet available through The International Center.
PROCEDURE
Georgia Perimeter College will endorse
and sponsor a study abroad program only if the following criteria have been
met:
1.
The study abroad program is listed among those approved by the
Office of International Education at the University of Georgia.
2.
The study abroad program has been reviewed and approved by the GPC
Study Abroad Advisory Board.
3.
Proper safety control and security arrangements for the program
have been reviewed and approved by the Georgia Perimeter College Study Abroad
Advisory Board.
4.
The Vice President for
Educational Affairs has approved all relevant study abroad program course
equivalencies.
