Gallery shows, like the annual GPC Visual Arts Student Exhibition, are an integral part of the arts scene at Georgia Perimeter College. Don Dougan, GPC gallery director, organizes the annual student arts exhibition, featuring the best of student painting, sculpture, photography, drawing and collage.  With more than 80 different  pieces, the show is displayed both at the  Clarkston Campus Fine Arts gallery and  at the GPC Dunwoody Library. The show is juried, and students are awarded merit prizes for best of show in their respective categories. Throughout the year, sculpture, painting, drawing and photography shows are displayed in both indoor and outdoor public spaces, and in the college’s  designated gallery spaces. The work is representative of the diverse talents of students, faculty art instructors, as well as some of the area’s top artists and photographers.
