How do I get my JCard?
Bring your Driver’s License, Government Issued ID, or passport to any JCard Office to have your photo taken and card printed.
I do not have a government issued ID, can I bring other proof of identity?
Yes, you may present a birth certificate, social security card and another photo ID such as; high school ID, Debit Card with photo or a work ID with photo. Contact JCard Administration at 678-891-3330 to discuss other options.
How do I accept the JCard policy?

Note: It takes 24 hours for the JCard data base to update your section. Unfortunately the JCard will not work until our data base reflects your policy acceptance.
I lost my card, what do I do?
Report a lost card online or contact JCard Administration at
678-891-3330 during regular business hours. The reported lost/stolen JCard will be deactivated until a new card is made, or the lost card is reported found. The replacement fee for a JCard is $10.00.
My name changed, how do I update my JCard?
You must first update your file through GPC Enrollment and Registration (HR if Employee). Once your request has been completely processed, visit any JCard Office to update your JCard. The $10 replacement fee will apply and should be paid prior to visiting the JCard office. You will be required to turn in your old ID card.
Do I receive a certain amount of free printing each semester?
Yes, each student receives $7.50 each semester in their Paw Prints account on their JCard to copy or print on campus.
How does the Financial Aid Program work?
If you qualify for Financial Aid, and have a balance left over after tuition and fees, a financial aid account will automatically be opened on your behalf. This account can be utilized with your JCard at any location that accepts the JCard and will be good for up to $1,000 (depending on your remaining financial aid balance). The account will be valid through the second week of classes.
How do I Link my JCard?
Speak to a Wells Fargo banker on campus during Orientation and Registration to have your Wells Fargo checking account Linked to your GPC ID Card. You may also contact JCard Administration at 678-891-3330 to be connected with a personal banker.
Can I withdraw funds from my JCard?
No, funds on the JCard can only be used on campus.
I am no longer a student/employee at GPC, how do I get the funds off my JBucks account?
Submit an Account Closure form. Funds will be refunded to you via your HigherOne card or direct deposited into you banking account within 3-4 weeks.
I am exclusively an online student, do I need to get a JCard?
No, student ID cards are not covered in your fees and you are not required to have one. Online students who wish to obtain a student ID card will need to pay the $10 JCard fee prior to visiting a JCard office. You may pay this fee at Student Accounts or JCard online.
I tried using my JCard but I received a card error, what does that mean?
There are a few reasons a JCard will not work on campus.
- If you are not enrolled for the current class term your JCard will not be active; therefore it will not work on campus.
- You may not have accepted the JCard policy. Accept the JCard Policy
- You may not be using your most current JCard. Contact JCard Administration to verify that you are using your most current ID Card.
