Off Campus Access to GPC Libraries Electronic Resources
Ask A Librarian · Research Guides · Site Search · Library Technical Services · GPC Home
*** These instructions apply only to off-campus access for GPC Libraries electronic resources . To access GALILEO resources, go to the GALILEO homepage and enter the current semester's GALILEO password.***

When you are on one of our campuses, simply click on the link of the resource you wish to access and you will be recognized by IP address and allowed into the database without having to provide any form of authentication.

Off-campus access to GPC Libraries electronic resources is also available to currently enrolled students, currently employed faculty and staff, and retirees who have current GPC email accounts.

To access the databases from a location other than a GPC campus (such as your home, a public library, etc.), please make sure that your browser has cookies enabled and that you are running the most current version of Java. Then visit the list of our databases on the GPC Libraries website or in GALILEO, and click on the link to the database that you wish to access. (If you are entering through GALILEO, from off-campus, you will first be prompted for the GALILEO password, which changes every semester. Instructions for obtaining that password are found here.)

If this is the first time you're accessing a GPC Libraries resource during your current web session, you will see the following screen where you will be prompted to log in using your GPC username and password.

If you have forgotten your GPC username and password, you can retrieve the information using this form. If you have any problems with this form, please contact the GPC Service Desk for assistance.

After logging in using this form, you will have access to any of GPC's electronic resources for the duration of your web session. Depending upon how your browser is set to retain cookies, you may find that you have to log in again after closing all browser windows.
