Respondus is a program for making and managing exam questions.  This tool can generate paper-based tests as well as publish exams to our learning management system, iCollege.  You can request this software using the software request form.

 

Turning Technologies provides software for the use of clickers called Turning Technologies ResponseCards in the classroom.  The instructor program, TurningPoint AnyWhere, required for using the clickers must be downloaded, but it does not require installation.  You can use the TurningPoint AnyWhere software to create question sets that can be used with the student response cards.  The software can also upload the results of these assessments directly to iCollege.  In addition, you can import question sets from publisher software for use with student clickers.

Many publishers provide software for creating assessments.  The questions and exams created by this software can be used to create paper-based tests, can be used with the TurningTechnologies clicker software, or they can be put in Respondus so that they can be put in iCollege online assessments.
