ePublications
ePub is the new standard for publications that can be read by mobile devices. Where PDFs maintain exact formatting, epub is designed for reflowable content. This means that the content can easily be adjusted based on the mobile device or preferences of a user. ePub is also unique in that it can include multimedia content.
At GPC, we support the use of Pages for the creation of ePub documents. The Pages software is available in each of the Instructional Design Labs. Once created, ePub documents can be delivered from webpages, iCollege, or via podcasts.
