Software Resources

Instructional Technology Services supports software resources provided by the Office of Information Technology. The support includes training and one-on-one assistance with how to best use the software to enhance teaching and instruction.  There are two main categories of software at GPC:
 
 
Many of the supported desktop applications require installation by contacting tsoftware resourceshe Service Desk. However, several of the software applications can be downloaded and installed on your desktop computers. Other services and applications are available online, allowing you access to the software from any computer. Because some of the supported applications do not have campus-wide licensing, some of these applications can only be found in the Instructional Design Labs.

Discounted Software Purchase

GPC offers employees the opportunity to purchase discounted software such as MS Office 2010 for home use from https://www.gpc.edu/oit/software/emsd.

 

Beyond Trust

The Office of Information Technology released a product named Beyond Trust. It enables our customers to install and update certain applications and software on their assigned desktop or laptop without contacting the Service Desk.
