Open Access at the Alpharetta IDL

Do you wish you could use the Instructional Design Lab on your schedule?  During the Fall 2011 semester, the Alpharetta Instructional Design Lab will be piloting a new opportunity called Open Access.  Open Access will provide faculty, who obtained clearance, the opportunity to use the IDL at any time.  All they will need to do is use their swipe card to unlock the door.

Obtaining Clearance

Because the IDL is equipped with state-of-the-art production equipment, any faculty members who are interested in taking advantage of Open Access will either need to attend a formal Open Access Orientation session or schedule a One-on-One Open Access Orientation.  The orientation will establish guidelines for use of the IDL during Open Access use.
Once a faculty member has taket the orientation, his or her GPC ID card will be configured so that they have swipe card access to the IDL.
We are excited to provide greater access to our resources to our outstanding faculty so that they can create and design on their schedule!  Please visit the training schedule for upcoming Open Access Orientation dates or contact the Alpharetta Instructional Technologist to arrange an orientation to Open Access.
