Data Center Repair!
OIT is working with its vendors to make necessary repairs to the battery system that supports the data center. To do this, power to the data center must be suspended and all college services will hence be unavailable.
The repairs will begin Saturday December 20th starting at 7AM, and services will not return until Saturday December 20th at approximately 10PM. Telephone, Websites, Email, Banner/SIS, Icollege and other supporting applications will be unavailable during this window.

On Saturday, December 13, 7:00AM through 10:00PM, all services and systems will be offline for required maintenance.

iCollege Emergency Maintenance on 11/15!
GPC has been notified by the University System of Georgia that a critical security patch MUST be applied to iCollege. This emergency maintenance will mean that iCollege will be unavailable Saturday, November 15 beginning at 12:01am until 4:00am. Please plan to complete all of your assignments, quizzes, and other activity prior to 12:01am.

Planned Network Outage on 11/16!
OIT will be performing enhancements to Network infrastructure between 6am Sunday November 16th and 2pm Sunday November 16th , 2014. During the outage, all college services will be unavailable including Banner/SIS, WEB, email, and iCollege.

At 5:00pm today, OIT will need to perform upgrades to SIS (Banner). Services will be unavailable for approximately 1 hour.

GPC Mobile App is Back Up!
We’re pleased to report that issues with the GPC Mobile App have been resolved. The problem yesterday was determined to be an overload on the server.

GPC Mobile App is Down!
The GPC Moble App is experiencing an outage for all users. The cause for this outage is currently unknown. As such, the anticipated time of resolution is also unknown. Technicians are currently investigating this outage.

Server Maintenance from 6/29 - 6/30! Network Upgrade on 6/29!
Sunday, June 29th, 12:00 midnight thru Monday, June 30th, 12:00 midnight (24 hours), the Student Information System (SIS) and related web applications will not be available due to scheduled maintenance.
Starting on Saturday June 28, 2014 at 7:00am to 11:00am, OIT will be performing an upgrade that will cause intermittent email access for employees using Webmail only. Once the upgrade is complete, employees will notice a new login screen for Webmail access (OWA). Also, on Sunday June 29, 2014 at 7:00am to 12:00pm, OIT will be performing network upgrades at Decatur Campus. This will disrupt email for employees during this time period.

March 12, 2014 at 7pm, OIT will be replacing a damaged piece of equipment . This outage will last up to 1 hour. During this time all college services including WEB, SIS, iCollege, getmylogin, Banner, and campus to campus communications will be unavailable.

Friday March 7, 2014 at 9pm OIT will be replacing a damaged piece of equipment that is not proving good performance to the network. This outage will last up to 30min. During this time all college services including WEB, SIS, iCollege, getmylogin, Banner, and campus to campus communications will be unavailable.

In an effort to improve services OIT will be replacing equipment Sunday March 2, at 7am -11am at the Decatur campus location. During this period email services for all employees will be affected. This will not interfere with student email, Banner, WEB, or iCollege.
