The first time you attend a session in the virtual lecture hall (technically, the Wimba Live Classroom), you will need to run the Setup Wizard. You will see the link to the Setup Wizard when you click on the above link. You only have to do this the first time you attend a Wimba Live Classroom session, even if that first time is in one of your courses, not in the Online Business (OBC). Allow yourself 5-10 minutes to complete the setup requirements, although it generally takes only a couple of minutes to run.
You will need speakers on your PC or laptop and a microphone, if you want to speak directly to the presenters. If you don't have a microphone, you will be able to enter your questions and comments in a chat box. Headsets are ideal but not required. Alternatively, you can access the presentation via a telephone number. Once you're in the room, click on the telephone icon to find the phone number to dial and the PIN number to enter.
