The college offers transfer Associate of Science degrees that represent freshman and sophomore requirements for baccalaureate degrees granted by four-year institutions in schools other than Arts and Sciences. The college urges students to confer with the four-year institution to which they plan to transfer and to take the required courses at GPC. The Associate of Science dgree is offered in the following areas:
* This program has been discontinued as of fall 2012. Students who wish to study dentistry or medicine should follow the biology program of study. Student who wish to study pharmacy should follow the chemistry program of study.
Health Science Programs
The following Associate of Science degrees constitute the first two years of a four-year Allied Health degree that must be completed at Georgia Health Sciences University:
Health Sciences with a Concentration in Health Information Adminstration
Health Sciences with a Concentration in Medical Technology*
Health Sciences with a Concentration in Radiologic Sciences+
Health Sciences with a Concentration in Respiratory Therapy
* This degree articulates with Georgia Health Sciences University's Clinical Laboratory Science major.
+ Included in this degree are programs in Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy. Diagnostic Sonography is no longer included in this program.
