    Important Updates and Announcements:

    *November 20th, 2009 Sending Emails to students!

    We are currently experiencing issues with faculty and staff sending email from their GPC email account (john.doe@gpc.edu) to students at their GPC email account. You may receive a bounced message notice or error when attempting to email a student. Please be patient. We are working on the issue and hope to have it resolved soon.

    *October 26th, 2009 SIS/Banner Issue!

    If you are getting an error in SIS/Banner that says, "FRM-92160: WEB Client version too old", then please empty out your JInitiator cache. You can do so by going to Start and then Control Panel. Once Control Panel opens, please make sure that you are in the Classic View instead of the Category View. If you are in the Category View, you can switch by clicking on the "Switch to Classic View" link on the left-hand side. Next, double-click on JInitiator 1.3.1.28. Once it opens up, go to the Cache tab and click on Clear Jar Cache. Click "Yes" when it prompts you to verify that you want to erase cache files. After that, you can reboot your computer and then try again.

    *August 17th, 2009 resetting passwords!

    To protect your identity, the Service Desk is no longer authorized to reset passwords for Students and Employees. Please go to the GetMyLogin page to reset your GPC password. Please note: ADP passwords and SIS PIN's are NOT included in the streamlining.GPC/Web, iCollege, Logging into the Open Labs or the LRC and email passwords are now all the same password and can be reset on the GetMyLogin page.

    Thank you for your patience as we work to reduce the number of passwords necessary for accessing college services!
