Career Advancement is attainable at GPC through promotions and transfer or reassignment opportunities. Primarily, career advancement needs to be the goal of each employee and we should all take advantage of, and initiate where possible, opportunities to cross train; utilize training/workshop resources offered in house; seek to be a part of a mentoring circle or seek out a mentor in areas of interest; join professional work organizations that can help hone skills for advancement.
Preparation for advancement can be facilitiated with various online and college wide courses offered by OIT, Human Resources, and Advising Counseling & Retention Services. Below are only a few of the opportunities offered by GPC.
