David "Chris" Wesley	Vy Nguyen	Ernest Madut
At Georgia Perimeter College, David “Chris” Wesley soared past his disability, majored in history and graduated from the GPC Honors Program.	Vy Nguyen’s commitment to training paid off when the GPC student was named the top two-year college math student in Georgia for 2010-2011.	Ernest Madut, once one of the “Lost Boys of Sudan,” became a GPC student, a husband, a father and a homeowner.

Thai Refugee and former U.S. Marine Vilay Sombatsaphay says GPC’s diversity makes the college a welcoming community.	With so much to look forward to in GPC’s Drama program, Hannah Carey never looked back.	GPC Media Spot helped Carmille Fernandez, a U.S. Air Force veteran and mother of two, hone her journalism skills.

Michael Smith	Huong Vu	Ruth Mitchell
At age 17, sprinter Michael Smith graduated from high school, earned an associate degree from GPC and received a scholarship at Clemson.	GPC and the national Jack Kent Cooke scholarship helped Vietnam native Huong Vu reach her goal of attending Georgia Tech.	In her 80s, former dancer Ruth Mitchell began pursuing a tuition-free degree through the Prime Timers program.
