Contingency & Unallocated Reserve Funding - 20% of Total tech fee fund
Contingency & Unallocated Funding
Contingency & Unallocated funding is defined set aside portion of Student Tech fee fund for use in contingency planning. A decision is made prior to the end of each fiscal period as to whether the fund will be carried over as a reserve to be included in the next year’s budget. The Contingency & Unallocated reserve should not exceed funding total beyond 500k dollars in any fiscal period and a plan should exist as to how the funds will be expended after a two to three year carry over to deplete the reserves.
