Prime Timers Program

Individuals who are 62 years of age or older may complete an Associate Degree Program at Georgia Perimeter College with no tuition charge!

Initially, Prime Timer students can enroll in up to 12 semester hours of credit courses prior to meeting General Admission requirements. They can enroll in audit or credit courses (on a space available basis). While the core curriculum emphasizes humanities, mathematics, natural sciences and social sciences, lifelong learning opportunities are provided through courses in music, art, theater and foreign languages.

Advising and counseling services are available at no cost to all GPC students. GPC offers its students a wonderful learning environment with award-winning instructors in intimate class sizes!

Georgia Perimeter College is a great place to start and/or continue your college education, develop study skills and receive an Associate Degree.

Requirements

          For up to 12 semester hours of credit courses:

• Resident of the state of Georgia (one year)*.
• At least 62 years of age.*
• Completed and signed Application Form.
• Completed and signed Prime Timers Deferment Form.
• Submit Immunization Form.

• Official high school transcript or official GED results.
• Official transcripts from prior colleges and universities attended.
• Appropriate placement evaluation

Fees

• Application Fee is waived.
• Tuition fees are waived.
• Prime Timers are not exempt from madatory fees: activity, technology, athletic and student support. Prime Timers are also responsible for purchasing all required books and materials for the appropriate class.
