    All students must present Photo I.D. at all testing sessions. Students will not be tested without Photo I.D.

    • Students must register for the test during 1st half or 2nd half registration.
    • Students must bring a photo ID and a Dean's Letter of Admission to the test.

    Regents' Test (ESL Version)

    • This test is for non-native English speakers only.
    • The ESL version of the Regents’ test will be administered on the Clarkston and Dunwoody campuses. Select one of the campuses and register the Regents’ Test (ESL Version) section listed for your selected campus.
    • Students will not be admitted to the test without a photo ID.

    Students must pass both the Regents' reading and writing tests before earning 45 hours. Students who have not passed both the Regents' reading and writing prior to 45 hours are required to take RGTR 0198 and/or RGTE 0199 every semester until they pass both parts.

     

    Regents' Test Preparation Courses
    (RGTR 0198 and RGTE 0199)

    RGTR 0198 (Preparation for Reading) and RGTE 0199 (Preparation for Essay Writing), taught by the Humanities Division, are remedial courses to strengthen skills in reading and writing. Undergraduate students who have not passed both the reading and essay writing parts of the Regents' Tests by the time they have completed 45 semester hours (including hours for all courses completed at all institutions attended) are required to register for RGTR 0198 and/or 0199 each semester they are in attendance at Georgia Perimeter College until the test is passed.
