2005-2006 Schedule Outfielder Jerome Wooley leads a trio of Georgia Perimeter College baseball players named to the Georgia Junior College Athletic Association Region XVII All-GJCAA team announced at the end of the season. Two-time All-Region selection Joe White joins Wooley as a first team selection and third baseman Josh Sasser receives second team honors. Wooley was fourth in the conference and led the Jaguars with 24 runs, 42 hits, 23 RBIs, eight doubles, three triples and a .412 batting average. Joe White, a former national player of the week selection and reigning conference player of the year, was among the conference top five hitters and second on the team with a .405 batting average, 18 runs, 34 hits, 24 RBIs, and two homeruns in 84 at bats. With 99 appearances at the plate, Sasser recorded a .354 batting average, 21 runs, 35 hits, 22 RBIs and a team leading four home runs. Wooley and Sasser were among the conference leaders with 23 and 20 stolen bases, respectively. The Jaguars completed a disappointing season with a 13-29 record overall and finished last in the conference at 7-20. - ### - | ||||||||||||||
