CQ Researcher
Use CQ Researcher for up-to-date news on current events. This database explores a single "hot" issue in the news each week on social, political, economic, and scientific topics. Reports are balanced, objective, and nonpartisan. Charts, graphs, and sidebar articles, plus a pro-con feature, chronology, bibliographies, and a list of contacts, round out each report.
- Open CQ Electronic Library from the library home page. When the
CQ page opens, select The CQ Researcher Online.
- Select a Recent Report or type a search into
the Quick Search box.
- Reports are ranked by a score: the higher
the number, the more relevant the report to your topic. You can
print or email the report you select.
- Once you have opened a report, you have the option
to print the article in either color or black and white, or to email
a section or the entire report.
