When you visit GIL at http://gil.gpc.edu, it opens the Quick Search page. Quick is usually easy, right? Well, Quick Search is pretty simple . . . if you know what a Quick Search is searching.
Quick Search is a keyword search tool. A keyword search looks for the term or terms you enter anywhere in the record of an item. Your terms could show up in the title, as part of the author's name, in items called the subject headings, or even the place of publication.
Try out Quick Search. Enter jimmy carter in the GIL search box below, and then click GO. (Notice that jimmy and carter aren't capitalized; capitalization doesn't matter, but spelling does!) A page of search results should appear.
