You see an item in the search results list, so you can just walk to the stacks and find it, right? Not exactly. You need to check the Library Location and Status of an item to find out if you can use it.

Look on the row just below a title in your search results list. You should see either Library Location or Click Title above for holdings information. If you see Library Location, that means one GPC library owns one copy of the item. Right after Library Location is listed the library that has the item. Which campus has Jimmy Carter's Economy: Policy in an Age of Limits?

If you see Click Title above for holdings information, we own more than one copy of that item. Click on the title to find out where it is. In the list below, find Hornet's Nest: A Novel of the Revolutionary War. Click on the title, and scroll down until you see each location. Where is this book?

A couple more important things: If the Library Location is Nonprint, then you'll find the item in the Nonprint Department on the second floor of the JCLRC/Clarkston Library. If the Library Location is GALILEO netLibrary electronic book, then the item is an ebook that you read from your computer monitor.
