New Faculty Academy
The purpose of
this academy is to welcome, educate
and promote excellence in teaching
among newly hired GPC faculty. The
New Faculty Academy was created on
the premise that excellence in
teaching is a necessity in the
development of an effective learning
environment. The academy is
designed to provide support and a
context that will permit faculty to
become familiar with the academic
culture at GPC, share their
experiences, and enrich their
expertise. New Faculty will have
the opportunity to explore
techniques in teaching, and
discussing everything that affects
the learning environment with a
supportive group of campus
colleagues.
New Faculty Programming
The Center for Teaching and Learning is continually working to develop new programming for new faculty. This year continues with the GPC New Faculty Learning Community. Details can be found on our workshop schedule or by contacting the CTL
