Evolution of the Outcrop

Georgia
Perimeter
College Botanical Garden

Below are a few pictures of the Outcrop. The Outcrop was designed by Karen Lindauer based in part on her outcrop garden. The plants were all initially obtained from a rescue site, our first granite outcrop site. We were very fortunate to have been able to rescue some fairly good sized rocks and quite a bit of plant material. The garden has since been expanded as the photos show with additional rocks and plants both purchased and rescued. This garden continues to evolve as we find out what plants survive in the garden. The Confederate Daisies, an annual were spectacular last year and we do have many seedlings again. Pictures are in chronological order by year to show how the garden has evolved/changed both from year to year and throughtout the year.

All pictures are the property of the photographers - William Belknap, Karen Lindauer, Linda Pirkle or George Sanko. They are the sole property of the photographers and may not be used for any commercial purpose. Please feel free to use them in any other way. Many of the photos are linked to a higher definition.
