The Decatur LTC provides a variety of services to meet the diverse needs of
the
student population.

Tutoring is available for individuals or small groups. The
Decatur LTC staff includes working professionals and
graduate students with math or communication degrees and
peer tutors with excellent math or communication skills.
Services are FREE to GPC students.

The Decatur LTC is equipped with forty-one computers with
up-to-date instructional software for skills development in math
and communication, practice in specific courses, and/or
preparation for the COMPASS and Regents tests.

To accommodate the diverse learning styles of students, videos, books, study kits and audiotapes are also available. Decatur LTC staff members can guide students in the use of instructional software and assist with basic word-processing and internet software.

Tours and orientations are available for classes. Workshops to promote academic success are sponsored by the Decatur LTC or offered in conjunction with other academic services departments.
