There are 11 public access computers available in the Decatur Campus Library. The computers provide access to the Internet and library research tools only. An additional 6 laptop computers are available for use within the library. The laptops are equipped with wireless Internet access and the Microsoft Office Suite. Use of the laptops is limited to current GPC students, faculty and staff only. See Laptop Policies for more information.
The Decatur Campus Computer Lab in room SB-2120 provides additional access to Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office software programs and assistance in using these programs.
Research takes priority over other computer and Internet usage on both desktop and laptop computers. Personal email, chatting, instant messaging, game playing and viewing adult content are prohibited on all library computers. See the library Computer Use Policy for more details.
A valid GPC ID or V-Card is required to print from all computers in the library through the college-wide print management system. Printing costs 6 cents per single-sided page. Currently enrolled GPC students are given $7.50 of printing credit at the beginning of each semester. Additional printing funds may be added at the V-Card machine. Non-GPC affiliated users may purchase a V-Card at the machine in the photocopy area.
Wireless Internet
access is available to GPC students, faculty and staff at all locations
within the library. Printing is now available from the wireless network.

In addition, all of the individual study carrels in the library have connections for wired Internet access. You must provide your own Ethernet cable to access the wired network.
