Helpful Hints:

If you are a new student, your first advising session is conducted at New Student Orientation with a faculty member or an ACS advisor.

If you are a first time fulltime student starting in the summer or fall, we will assign you a cohort advisor. The cohort advisors will meet with you each semester to help you develop and follow your academic plan.

All other students will meet with an advisor in the Advising and Counseling Services (ACS) Center. Although advising for these students is required when the student has earned 15, 30 and 45 semester hours, students may seek advising at any time from an advisor in the ACS or a faculty member.

Note: Students who self-advise must assume full responsibility for selecting classes that meet the prerequisite and co-requisite course requirements for their programs of study.
