COMMUNITY INTERPRETERS

GPC ALUMNI

Do you need to have a place to record yourself for skill-building? Do you need to work with practice materials? Do you just want to see how you look as an interpreter?

GPC has the place for you!

Our Sign Language Interpreting Lab is now open to this community. You can reserve a spot to come and work during our Open Lab Hours. If you are bringing in outside source materials to work with, you must have these approved in advance so that we can maintain our equipment. Your time in the lab must be spent working on projects that pertain to interpreting.

We do not allow our computers to be used for internet access, so all materials must be brought in on DVD, CD-R, VHS, or audio cassette. You will also have access to the materials that we use. You will be accountable to the same rules as our students during your use of the lab.

Lab usage will cost $5.00 per hour. You can purchase a 10 hour package for $40.00 – a savings of $10.00.

Reservations MUST be made in advance by e-mailing Becky. Our Open Lab Hours and instructions are posted at the following link:
