community? Are you a student or alumnae of DeKalb/Georgia Perimeter
College? Then a listserve may be right for you.
Listervs are an effective way of sharing information. Like an e-mail list, one message can be sent to a large number of people. Unlike an e-mail list, you don't get a listing of the fifty gazillion other people receiving the message. With a listserv, you subscribe, suspend and unsubscribe for yourself. You can post your own message and respond to others. (We merely ask that you stay with the topics of interpreting, interpreter education, ASL and Deafness. No "Isn't this a good cookie recipe " posts please.) How do you sign up? Simple! |
