Photocopies
- Photocopiers do not accept cash, but operate on a swipe card system.
- You can use either a GPC ID card (also called an Access Card) or a V-Card
to make copies. You can put copy credits on either of these cards using the
kiosks (V-Machines) located in the atrium on the ground floor of Building
B or in the Student Center in Building A. V-Machines accept $1, $5, and $10
bills.
- If you don't have a GPC Access Card, you can purchase a V-Card for $1 in
either of the V-Machines and then put more value on it as you wish.
- You can add copy credits to your GPC Access Card in the Student Accounts
office in Building A during regular business hours.
- Library copy machines do not accept faculty ID's. Faculty can use machines
located in department offices with faculty ID's.
- There is also a copy machine located on the third floor of Building B, just
past the Faculty Suite, that accepts GPC and UGA faculty ID's.
- There is a faculty copy machine located outside the mailroom in Building
A.
Note: The Library cannot make change. You can get change in
Student Accounts.
Problems: The Library is not responsible for copy cards that
don't work. If you have a problem with a V-Card, call (404) 298-3938 Mon.-Fri.,
8-5. If you have problems outside of business hours, call the next business
day. This number is also displayed on the back of each card.
Refunds: If you lose copy credits because of a copy machine
malfunction you can have that value returned to your card using the online form
located at www.gpc.edu/~gpccs/refund.htm.
You will need to take note of the copy machine number (located on the front
of the machine) and your ID number (not your Social Security
number). If you need additional assistance, call Auxiliary Services at (404)

Fees:
- Print-outs from computers or microfilm readers cost
$.15 per page.
- Photocopies cost $.09 per page.
- V-Cards cost $1.00. If you need to purchase a V-Card card,
you will need to deposit $1.00 in the one of the V-machines located in the
atrium of Building B or the Student Center in Building A. You can add value
to the card as you wish.
The Following Are Prohibited in the Library:
- Food
- Drinks
- Tobacco use, including chewing tobacco
- Cell phone use
- Any behavior that would disrupt others' ability to study
Also:
- Priority of computer use is given to research-related activities.
- Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children. Unaccompanied
children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the Library.
