Faculty Outreach
The goal of Georgia Gwinnett College's Library outreach
programs are to provide unique, customized services for both the
on-campus and off-campus communities. The focus is to assess and meet the
specific research needs of faculty and their students. Through various
outreach efforts, our aim is to work collaboratively with teaching faculty
as a team to help support Georgia Gwinnett College's overall mission for
Learning By All Means.
GGC Library's outreach efforts include:
- Disseminating pertinent library information to faculty
- Sending memos to faculty, outlining our main service points
- Sending GALILEO passwords and tips on database use to faculty
- Library tours
- Engaging in local public library efforts such as the Gwinnett Reads
summer event
- Assistance with designing on-site bibiographic instruction and research
pathfinders for classes
