Dual Enrollment-Admissions Requirements
Minimum Admission Requirements
- A rising junior or senior currently enrolled in a HOPE-eligible high school or accredited home-school program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in core classes on a 4.0 scale.
- Minimum SAT I score 970 combined Critical Reading and Math.
- OR Minimum ACT composite score of 20, combined English and Math.
- Exemption from learning support courses, minimum SAT Critical Reading 480 and Math 440 OR minimum SAT English 20 and Math 18.
Eligibility for Honors Courses requires ONE of the
following criteria.
- High school GPA of 3.5 in core classes.
- Combined SAT I score of 1200 or higher (critical
reading and math), or a critical reading SAT l score of 650 or higher, or a Math SAT 1 score of 620 or higher
- ACT composite score of 26, or an ACT English score of 29 or higher or an ACT math score of 27 or higher.
- National Merit Semi-Finalist, Finalist, or Scholar standing.
Registration for Honors courses is done in consultation with the Honors Coordinator.
Please Note
- College courses may not be used to fulfill both high
school and college degree requirements, with the exception of Math (4th
unit), English (4th unit), and Social Science (3rd unit) courses.
- All grades issued to Dual Enrollment students will
be recorded as letter grades based on the College’s grading system. College
instructors will not issue numerical grades.
