The Office of Marketing and Public Relations
The goal of the Office of Marketing and Public Relations is to promote the college's mission, priorities and initiatives; develop positive public perceptions of the institution; support special events and drive advertising and marketing campaigns. The award-winning MPR team consists of experts in the areas of:

• advertising and marketing
• event support
• graphic design
• media relations
• photography
• publications
• videography
• Web site creation.

MPR produces college publications including among others The Chronicle, In the Loop, the annual report, the Impact Report and the College Catalog and manages the GPC Educational Access Channel (EAC), Comcast Channel 22, available in DeKalb County, Georgia.

For the internal GPC community, the office produces brochures, flyers and videos. MPR provides photography services, news release editing and writing, graphic design and guidance in Web content creation. Barbara Obrentz, the chief public relations officer and director of marketing, oversees the Office of Marketing and Public Relations.
