The Newton Campus Library (Building 2, Room 3100) is a quiet place to study and
to do research.
The
Library contains seating for 138, and includes 29 individual study desks and 3
small group study rooms.
Twenty-four computer workstations
provide access to GPC’s electronic resources, including the GALILEO
collection of databases,
GPC’s library catalog (GIL@GPC),
the
GIL Universal Catalog, and the Internet.
Six professional librarians are ready to help you find the information you are
looking for,
to demonstrate the library's many resources, and to show you alternatives to
Google and Yahoo.
The Newton Campus Library’s collection of materials has grown to over 14,000
items,
with over 50 subscriptions to current magazines and
newspapers. GALILEO now
offers nearly 250 subscription
databases, many containing full-text magazine, newspaper
and journal articles.
Services provided by the Newton Campus Library include
reference and database assistance,
requests of books from other GPC and
University System of Georgia libraries, course reserves,
math videos, and
individual instruction in library research.
